Lloydminster Cross Country Ski Club

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of cross country skiing in the Lloydminster area. Our mission is to provide an affordable family activity that people of all ages can take part in. The 2016-2017 season will be the 42nd year of the Lloydminster Cross Country Ski Club. Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre

Located at 4706 – 54 Street in LLoydminster. Trails start from the parking lot on the south side of the building. A trail of approximately 5.0 km goes around the perimeter of the golf course. Additional trails are set in the middle of the golf course.

Poplar Bluff

Our heated clubhouse is now located at an area called Poplar Bluff (approx 20 km east of Lloydminster). Gliding down the rolling hills at Poplar Bluff is a great way to spend an afternoon in the great outdoors.

*The City of Lloydminster also sets trails at Bud Miller Park.

Poker Rally

Held once a year in February or March at the Poplar Bluff trails. This is a fun event for all levels of skiers. On this 5 km trail, a card is picked up prior t0 leaving the clubhouse, At various points along the trail, 3 more cards are picked up. Upon returning to the club house, your fifth card is obtained to complete your poker hand. Skiers with the best poker hands win a variety of prizes, donated by local businesses. A hot meal and fellowship is also included.

Moonlight Skies

Held periodically through the ski season depending on weather and snow conditions. Depending on the location we may have a weiner roast at the end. Skiing under a beautiful moonlight sky is an event you won’t soon forget.
